Meet Sue, Dave and the gang, the Disney-mad fostering family

In the second of our weekly features across Cheshire media titles, we spoke with Sue and Dave, the Disney-mad  foster family from Cheshire West and Chester.

‘As soon as you meet them, you’re instantly met with warmth and compassion’, said our Social Worker, Gemma.

‘If I could bottle what this family have, and give it to all of our children, I would.’

High praise indeed, and absolutely deserved. Even during lockdown, as the family couldn’t make their usual frequent trips to Disney World, they’ve ensured the children and young people in their care have still been able to experience it. With virtual rides via You Tube, accompanied by cooking Disney-style food, they’ve sprinkled the magic 2020/1 style.

Dave’s t-shirt is particularly apt- in the words of Moana- he’s just an ordinary Demi-Dad!
