• Wants to help a young person who may have traveled a long way in traumatic circumstances, who may be afraid and anxious, to find their feet in England
• Could support a young person to develop their English skills
• Could potentially provide them with a familiar family culture (although this is not essential)
• Could support them in their religious and cultural development
• Wants to care for an older child or young person- most of our UASC are over the age of ten
• Is keen to learn and develop their skills through free training, extensive support and being part of a fantastic local family of foster carers
