Fostering is at your fingertips

Are you thinking about becoming a foster carer but not quite sure about how to get started? Foster4 have got you covered! There are so many easy and convenient ways to get in touch with us, we’ll show you how you can take your first step.

First up, there’s a phone call. A simple and direct way to get in touch with one of our experienced Fostering Support Workers, just pick up the phone and call us on 0345 6460098. Our Fostering Support Workers will be able to answer any questions that you have and if you’re ready to take the next step, they’ll guide you through the process and start your journey to become a foster carer.

If you prefer to communicate in writing, you can always send us an email. This way, you can take your time crafting your fostering questions and thoughts before sending them to us. We’ll get back to you by email attaching information that we hope you find useful.

We also have an online enquiry form. Fill out your information and one of our Fostering Support Workers will send you the fostering information pack for your Local Authority. You can chose to receive your information pack by email only, by post or both!

Then, there’s the ever-popular direct message option via social media. You can send a quick message on Facebook or Instagram and receive a prompt response. It’s like having a conversation, but at your own pace and convenience.

Let’s not forget about our community pop-up events. These are a fantastic way to meet face-to-face with our expert Fostering Support Workers in an informal setting (you’ll find these types of events in places like libraries, coffee shops or parks in Cheshire or Merseyside). We’ll have plenty of information for you to take away.

And last but certainly not least, you can get all your questions answered at our Information Sessions – we run these types of sessions virtually and in person across Cheshire and Merseyside every month. These sessions are a great way to learn more about the fostering process, meet like minded people who are also enquiring to become a foster carer, and get a real sense of the community that you could be a part of. Along with our Fostering Support Workers, one of our wonderful, experienced foster carers will also be there, so you can hear directly from them about what being a foster family is really like.

No matter which way you choose to get in touch, reaching out to us is easy and accessible. We’ll make it simple for you to start your fostering journey in a way that works best for you.

So go ahead, pick up the phone, send that email, or attend that information session – your future as a foster carer is just a message away!
