Ellesmere Port foster carer Paula Boyd has shared her story of why she became a foster carer with her local newspaper The Standard.
Paula told journalist Chloe Nightingale: “It is so important to give something back and make a difference in a child’s life. If you have the capacity to do it, you should.
“It is so enriching and so rewarding. It can be challenging, but after the trauma these children have been to you are bound to get some challenging behaviour.”
