Monday 9th May marks the start of Foster Care Fortnight 2022. The annual campaign, run by national charity The Fostering Network, aims to raise awareness of the growing need for foster carers across the UK.
Here at Foster4, we’ll be promoting the campaign locally across our three Local Authority areas, spreading the message about this incredible role and inspiring the next generation of carers.
This year’s campaign theme is ‘Fostering Communities’, which fits perfectly with a few things we’ve got up our sleeve for the next two weeks.
We’ve already hit the campaign trail, we’ve posted our ad in council tax leaflets that have gone to every household across the region and hand delivered over 1000 flyers to residents in Chapleford, Warrington on Thursday 5th May.
We have our artwork featuring on billboards, buses and buildings across Cheshire throughout the fortnight- let us know if you spot them!
We’re also hosting an online information session on Wednesday 11th, and another just after the fortnight ends- on Tuesday 24th May at 6pm- book your place for either session here: Info Sessions – Foster 4
Last but not least- we have something exciting to announce very soon- watch this space!
