Sunday 14th July saw Foster4 head over to Walton Hall and Gardens in Warrington to attend the world’s largest not-for-profit disability exhibition, Disability Awareness Day.
The event, a huge display of opportunities, products and services for people with disabilities and additional needs, all held under numerous tented marquees and in open-space arenas, was once again a resounding success.
There, we had the opportunity to meet many new prospective foster carers, and also many of our existing ones who popped over to our stand to say hello. At the end of the day, the organisers presented awards to three organisations who had the best stand in the categories of:
Our stand clearly made a good impression as we were thrilled (and very shocked!) to win the award for Best Statutory Services Exhibitor. We’re now proudly displaying our award in the Foster4 office. A big thank you to all the organisers and volunteers who work so hard putting on this event- and of course for the recognition!
