All children are accommodated into care for different reasons.
Sometimes parents sign voluntary agreements to enable the Local Authority to care for the children, at other times, Court Orders or Police Protection Orders may need to be made. You will learn all about the different types of orders children may be accommodated under, who has parental responsibility, and what this means for both them and you as their carer, during your Skills to Foster training.
