Attending an Information Session is one of the next steps on your journey to becoming a foster carer. Attendance isn’t mandatory, but it provides great insight into the role, and is your opportunity to find out more and ask any questions you may have before you have an initial visit to your home from our fostering teams.
We run our information sessions virtually and in-person to enable you maximum choice and flexibility.
Cheshire West and Chester – Wednesday 24th April, 12:30pm. Storyhouse, Chester, CH1 2AR.
Halton – Tuesday 16th April, 12:30pm, Kingsway Children’s Centre, Victoria Road, Widnes, WA8 7QY
Warrington – Tuesday 12th March, 12:30pm at Woolston Neighbourhood Hub, Warrington, WA1 4PN
There’s no need to book, just turn up.
Further information sessions are being planned so keep checking back if you would like to meet the team in-person.
These 60 minute live sessions are run remotely and do require you to book your place.
Next session: Friday 26th April, 12:30pm.
We also have upcoming sessions on:
Wednesday 8th May, 6pm.
***Book Now***
To sign up to attend, please complete the form below and a member of our team will confirm your place and send you a link to access the session.
To get the most from the session, you will need a PC, laptop, tablet or iPad, but if you don’t have one of these, you can use a Smartphone.
If you are unable to attend one of our sessions, we have created a 15 minute introduction video to tell you about fostering, the process involved and the support you can expect to receive from Foster4. You can also hear some practical advice from one of our foster carers, about her own experience of fostering.
Please note, whilst we hope this introduction video is informative our information sessions expand on some of the subjects and offers the opportunity to ask questions and chat directly with a Foster4 Fostering Support Worker and foster carer. At a face-to-face session, a similar, authority-specific presentation is shown, which sets out the benefits of fostering in that particular area in more detail.
Please revisit this page regularly as we will add more dates for further information sessions. In the meantime we have other options available to progress your enquiry to the next stage.
We have a worker on duty each day (Monday – Friday) ready to answer your calls and questions, who can guide you through the process via email and telephone. If you’d like to find out more, discuss things further, or are ready to take the next step, please don’t hesitate to get in touch:
Email us at Enquiry@foster4.co.uk or call us on 03456460098.
You’ll also find us on Facebook and Instagram.
